ABOUT US

We are a Yorkshire-based company dedicated to enhancing the heating and insulation in your home.

We focus on how ECO funding and grants can be utilised to enhance your heating system, reduce your bills, and lower carbon emissions.

Renewable Energy

The future of energy is renewables.

Renewable energy encompasses solar panels and air-source heat pumps, which are ways to heat your house without relying on fossil fuels.

Insulation

UK households can save a third on their yearly bills with proper insulation.

Poorly insulated houses will leak heat, causing you to waste 1/3 of your bills; however, with correct insulation, you could be looking at average yearly savings of £1500 - depending on property size.

Inefficient Boilers

Back boilers and old boilers lack efficiency and will raise your bills.

Back boilers and older non-condensing boilers can cost you £300 more a year on your energy bills, as well as being difficult to fix and source parts.

WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR ME?

Upgrade of Heating Systems and Controls

If applicable, you could get a replacement boiler, efficient heating controls - such as smart thermostats and smart TRVs- as well as renewable energy sources.

Renewable Heating Sources

If you are off the main gas grid, you could be upgraded to renewable heating sources such as airsource heat pump, high heat retention storage heaters and solar panels

Insulation

Depending on the build type, you may have the following options: cavity wall insulation, solid wall insulation (internal wall insulation or external wall insulation), loft insulation, a room in the roof (attic room or bedroom), flat room insulation, and sloping ceiling insulation.

How Do I Qualify?

There are two separate qualifying routes: ECO 4 and GBIS.

ECO 4

Under ECO 4, there are three separate ways you can qualify for these measures; you only need one.

Anyone living in a household where someone receives a qualifying means-tested benefit, such as Universal Credit or ESA.

Anyone with a household income of under £31,000.

Additionally, households with someone who has a medical condition that is exacerbated by living in a cold home, such as cardiac conditions, respiratory issues, or limited mobility. Some that are covered by this are asthma, COPD, high blood pressure and heart conditions. If you are unsure about any others, please contact us.

Under the health route and benefits, household income is not assessed.

The Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS) - Insulation Only

This is not a means-tested scheme; to qualify, the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) must be band D or below.

You can find this information here, or otherwise it can be found on gov.uk

And a council tax band A to D.

You can find this information here or otherwise on gov.uk

If you do not have an EPC, we will calculate your rating during the survey.
